about

born in Bellevue, Wa into a house filled with family art, Erika has always desired to make her life a creative one. At a young age she discovered the graphite pencil and spent hours at school drawing on her arms and jeans with the ever popular gel-pens.

not content to live in the suburbs after high school, she moved to New York City to attend the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University focusing on Visual Culture and how we interact with it. She has since moved from New York to Washington, DC where she is putting her environmental worries as easy by working on the website for Conservation International.

a deadly combination of art & intellect, she draws inspiration from areas such as the self, science, food, consumer culture, health & fitness, Asia, PBS's Nova, as well as many other things.

her passion to never stop learning has fueled her expansion from graphic design to web development. She loves each discipline equally and hope to continue to grow her work through new ideas and inspirations. In her work, she is always striving to find that delicate balance between form & function.

an avid reader, she reads everything she can get her hands on and one day hopes to complete a life long dream of having a wall filled with books.

ever the athlete, Erika enjoyed a long-standing competitive swimming career from aged 7-22. She continues to walk, run, bike, dance and, of course, swim her way through life.
